Here, you will be guided through a series of online learning materials, but no prior knowledge is required. There is also a tutor available one evening per week to help with individual problems.
The successful completion of the modules leads to a qualification; the
European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL).
The course is made up of seven modules:
Basic concepts of IT
Using the computer and managing files
Word processing
Spreadsheets
Databases
Presentations
Information & Communication
All the applications you will learn about are from the Microsoft® range of software, i.e. Windows Explorer, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
